• Password: Stored securely using industry-standard encryption (never in plain text)

Vocabulary Data

• Words you save: The vocabulary words you choose to add to your personal collection
• Study progress: Your learning statistics and progress data
• Groups and categories: Custom organization you create for your words

Usage Information

• Selected text: Words you highlight and look up (only processed when you actively use the extension)
• Study activity: Time spent studying and practice session data

• Passwords: Stored using bcrypt hashing algorithm

5. Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

• Deletion timeline: Data is permanently deleted immediately upon request
• Recovery: Deleted data cannot be recovered

• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Track your browsing history beyond word lookups

You have the right to:

• Export: Download your vocabulary data in JSON format
• Delete: Remove your account and all associated data
• Opt-out: Use the extension offline without creating an account

8. Data Retention

• Your vocabulary data is retained as long as your account is active
• Deleted accounts and data are permanently removed immediately upon request
• Local storage data persists until you clear browser data or uninstall the extension

9. Children's Privacy

Voca Web is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
